Ode To A Hot Dog On A Stick Girl

My eyes snap to focus- red, yellow and blue. Feminine form- tight fitting costume. Equal parts stewardess, cheerleader and circus clown. The whole much greater than the sum of its parts.
What's not to love? To be gently squeezed by the hands of a Lemonade Lorelei. Aroma of corndog forms an irrisistable siren song. Trapped like a deer in the headlights. I surrender to the call.
Brightly lit window snaps my reverie. Face to face with the object of adoration. "Would you like mustard on that?" I pay and run away... to the edge of the light
Peering into bright glass box from shadows, the taste of corndog fills my senses. Eyes devour...

Yes! I have nothing to do with these guys, but as a record collector I must recommend that anyone with a hot dog jones seek out "Hot Dog On A Stick Girl," a song by The Fizzy Bangers. I think it was on a CD titled "Look Ma, No Talent, " released in the mid-1990's. They were a local L.A. club rock band with a humorous glam-rock/bubblegum slant and funny lyrics. I quite enjoyed their CD as well as a vinyl EP of theirs that I dug up, but then again I love good catchy rock music with humorous lyrics. (Maybe the song was on that vinyl EP, I'll have to check on that, now that I think of it. But you can trying seeking the song out online.)
